115 Years of service and quality began in 1889 . A small pavement "duccan". A small business - but with big ideas and ideals. Our founder Karim Bhai, from Gujarat, set up shop at Evening Bazaar . In those days he dealt mostly with lamps and lanterns. Over the years , the shop has grown into what it is today. "CURRIMBHOYS" , an unmistakable name for quality home products, an establishment that has remained traditional, yet modern in outlook,and has retained strong emotional bonds with its customers in the south of India.

"CURRIMBHOYS" is a down to earth,value for money brand that has survived and grown in the last century . At this juncture, with pride and humility we present probably Madras` first "click" and "mortar" shopping site with an emphasis to keep our prices down and offer the customer the luxury of shopping from his/her chair at home.

In this generation , Mr. Nazim Ali Currimbhoy heads the business . The business is housed in a five level building .The basement shop is spread over 1500 square feet has grown to accommodate Crockery, Glass Ware, Cutlery , Flask, Thermo ware, Trays and Coasters, Bake and Serve Oven Ware, etc. The other three floors stock and sell kitchenware and electrical appliances.
